Ervin Ritter, P.E.
Owner and President

Mr. Ervin Ritter, owner and president, has been a consulting engineer since 1973 after completing requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University Louisiana (formerly called University of Southwestern Louisiana) at Lafayette, Louisiana. His experience prior to forming his own firm was with a partnership of six professional electrical and mechanical engineers. In 1977 he achieved registration as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering, and later in Environmental and Control Systems Engineering in the State of Louisiana. Additional professional registrations are currently held in the states of Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Indiana, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida and Missouri.

Ervin is registered with the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources as a Technical Analyst for Energy Conservation audits, surveys and projects. He also holds accreditation by the Department of Environmental Quality in the area of Asbestos Inspection and Management Planning, Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor. Since 1996 he has been a staff instructor at Louisiana State University teaching Asbestos Inspection and Assessment, Asbestos Management Planner and Asbestos Project Abatement Design.

Ervin also provides consulting to the legal field in the area of mechanical engineering and environmental engineering.

Andrea B. Manceaux, P.E.
Project Manager/Engineer
Ms. Andrea Manceaux earned her Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering in 1997 from the University of Louisiana (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana, Lafayette, LA). She has been on the engineering staff since 1997 and has been involved with all aspects of designing mechanical systems for buildings, evaluating existing systems and working with the firm’s clients. Andrea is also trained as an Asbestos Inspector and is accredited by Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.

Andrea’s role as a Project Manager has her interacting with the client at all phases of the project from schematic design through the end of construction and acceptance by the owner. She has also performed system studies and evaluations for owners on existing systems.

 

Lee Ritter, CIE
Environmental Technical Assistant
Mr. Lee Ritter earned his Bachelor of Science in 2002 from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, LA. Lee joined the staff in 2005 as an environmental technician and is trained as an accredited Asbestos Inspection and Lead Based Paint Inspector. Lee maintains accreditation with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and holds a certification as a Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) for work on indoor air quality projects in the office and for clients.

Cathy Ritter, CPS
Office Manager/Technical Assistant
Cathy is the Vice President/Treasurer for Ritter Consulting Engineers Ltd. and is the Chief Administrative Officer for the firm. Cathy attained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1975 from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, LA (formerly University of Southwestern Louisiana). She has been the Office Manager since the firm was formed in 1981. Today she works between the offices in Lafayette and Metairie managing the staff in both locations. Along with her administrative skills, Cathy has been trained and is an LaDEQ accredited Asbestos Inspector.
